Getting Started: Creating Custom Support Bots

Embarking on the creation of a custom bot can be an exciting journey towards enhancing efficiency and knowledge sharing within your organization. Step 1: Access Bot Configuration through the Admin Panel

Log into the admin dashboard to begin shaping your bot. This is where you'll control and customize its features. Navigate to “bot configuration” on your left navigation bar.

  1. Fill in the Bot name and add a Bot description that outlines the bot's purpose and knowledge areas.
  2. Specify Where bot posts by selecting the Slack channels where the bot should actively listen and respond.
  3. Choose Response Approvers, if applicable, to ensure quality and accuracy of information before it goes live.
  4. Once all settings are configured, click Save to finalize your bot.
